The typically quiet NFL offseason was rocked on Monday when Kirk Cousins and Saquon Barkley, two of the most well-known players in their respective positions in pro football, flew the coop for the Atlanta Falcons and the Philadelphia Eagles, respectively.
According to his agent Mike McCartney, Cousins, who currently ranks fifth among all active quarterbacks, has agreed to a four-year contract with the Falcons and has left the Minnesota Vikings.
The 35-year-old cousin had played for the Washington Commanders for six campaigns before spending six seasons in Minnesota.
The NFL has not yet revealed its schedule for 2024, but each club is aware of the opponents they will face in the autumn. Coincidentally, the Falcons will be visiting the Vikings this season.
